My Healing Practice

I integrate myriad techniques and spiritual 10-18 687modalities when I work with clients.  I share with them that when they enter my healing space, it is much like Forrest Gump with his box of chocolates, “You never know what you’re going to get.”    And that is so true because how I perform as a healing practioner/facilitator is dependent on what is channeled through me.  I am the vessel through which Spirit works.  The healer is the client. I recognize and honor the contract made between my client and his or her Creator and request that all that happens during a healing session be for the Highest Good of all concerned.

A healing session requires a preliminary dialogue between the client and me, setting intention for what is desired from the healing, recognizing that healing always takes place while curing may not.  The different modalities that may be used during a session include Reiki, djembe drumming, shamanic healing and the use of tuning forks, crystal bowls, crystal stones, chanting or toning and music such as piano or Native American flute.  A client always has the ability to choose what modalities he or she desires.

o8B4Reiki:       The Japanese practice of energy medicine which uses life force energy to assist healing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels through the placement of hands on or off the body.  The word Reiki means ‘‘universal life force energy”.

Crystal bowls and tuning forks:   These work on the subtle energy fields in and outside the body to assist healing through vibrational frequencies.

10-18 109 - CopyDjembe drum healing:    The use of an African drum to channel forward healing sounds which bring about vibrational energy movement in and around the body, influencing subtle energy fields of the body matrix in a manner which facilitates healing on emotional, mental, physical and spiritual levels.

10-31 300 - CopyPeruvian Shamanism:      As a shaman and mesa carrier (a mesa being the Q’ero equivalent of a “medicine bundle or bag”), I use my training and intuitive abilities to work in areas of soul fragmentation and retrieval, past life “karmic” patterns, assisting in transitions both in conceptual reality (that which is seen and felt in this three dimensional world) and that which is non-conceptual ( that which is not seen in this three dimensional world).  It is the place of no space/time, where past, present and future are recognized as one place.  Shamans walk between the worlds, these two worlds of reality.  The luminous energy body is that which surrounds the physical body and it carries an imprint, a blueprint as it were, of all influences that have happened in a soul’s life time — eternal life time.  Influences can be emotional, physical, mental and/or spiritual.  They can be trauma induced, or they can be brought about through emotional imprinting through experiences such as joy, love, happiness, sadness, grief, anger and/or fear.  The physical body retains these elements through myriad life-time experiences and the shaman can assist the patient, through myriad techniques and assistance from benevolent forces and spirits both from the animal and spiritual realms, in overcoming challenges in his or her present life. The mesa contains stones and objects blessed by the lineage of the Q’ero shamans. The mesa stones and acquired objects are used to facilitate healing through their energetic properties and blessings.
