My spiritual journey, not withstanding eons of time in myriad incarnations, began fifty some years ago the moment I entered the world and took my first breath. My mother told me I cried for four days straight, so much so, she had to call the doctor to our home because she couldn’t get me to stop crying. I have often stated I have felt as though I have been crying ever since. Though happy much of the time, still weep for the women in my ancestral lineage …. for the myriad abuses on women throughout time …. for atrocities around the world created by the selfishness and greed of man …. for man’s inhumanity to man and for the suffering of all sentient beings — the two-leggeds, the four-leggeds, the furred, the finned, the winged, the creepy crawlers and, for our Earth Mother. Thus, throughout the years I have at various times immersed myself in all things spiritual trying to make sense of it all … to understand the Great Mystery of life, of suffering and of joy. Ultimately, I began to study with passion, with almost addiction, the spiritual teachings of great and lesser religions, spiritualities, philosophies, mystery schools, indigenous spiritual practices, holistic alternative medicine modalities and scientific information that would serve to broaden my awareness and attune my personal beliefs.
I have always been (a label here) a “sensitive”, an empath, a clairsentient, an intuit. Beginning in the l980s, I studied and practiced Reiki — the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition — obtaining my Master level training and certification in the mid 2000s. In 2009, I became a mesa carrier — a pampamesayoq — in the Peruvian Andes Q’ero tradition: an earth steward and shamanic healer. As my psychic, intuitive and healing abilities awakened and heightened, I realized my ability to communicate with animals and people, both living and passed, as well as channeling both the devic realms of earth and spirits and the celestial realms of ascended masters, guides and angels through the use of automatic writing and journaling. In 2010, I was introduced to Djembe drumming and its power to heal through its vibrational properties when played as a tool for channeled wellness energy. I now use it, as well as crystal bowls and other sound instruments during healing sessions.
